Position: Housekeeper / Breakfast Attendant (Female Only)

Position Available: 2 positions

Hourly wage: $14.00 per hour

Overtime: Sometimes

Overtime details: Overtime hourly rate is $21.00

Job Benefits: A bonus of up to $1 per hour for regular hours worked during contract dates. The bonus will be paid at the end of the contract date if all the following standards are met:

1. Participants stay until the end of the agreed upon contract date.
2. Participants stay under the allowed attendance points for the season. Attendance points will be explained during the orientation.
3. Participant housing is left in acceptable condition. It should be clean, neat, and in no need of repair.
4. Participants can maintain an average room time of 35 minutes or less.
5. No violation of company policies

A bonus will be paid on the last check at the end of the contract. Failure to meet all the above standards will result in a reduced bonus or no bonus at all.

Average hours per week: 32 – 40 hours

Average number of days per week: 5 – 6 days

Job Prerequisites:

This hotel offers pet friendly rooms and maintains a nonsmoking environment. Participants with allergies to animals must make their employer aware of it during the interview.

Participants are NOT allowed to smoke at work.

Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.

As the Housekeeper, participants will be responsible primarily to provide daily maid service for hotel rooms and general spaces of the hotel. This includes general cleaning, changing linens, vacuuming, emptying garbage, replacing supplies, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Participants will be assigned to clean a variety of single-room and multi-room units.

Job Description:

• Clean common bathrooms daily.
• Wash and sanitize all sinks, showers, toilets, and mirrors.
• Mop bathroom floors.
• Making beds
• Fill soap dispensers, paper towel & toilet paper daily.
• Empty out all bathroom trash cans daily.
• Change shower curtains weekly.
• Empty garbage cans daily.
• Clean windowsill; dust the blinds daily.
• Clean spider webs off windows and walls.
• Doing laundry [NOTE: This will not total more than 15% of duties].

Some mornings will be spent as a Breakfast Attendant. In this role participants will be responsible primarily for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet, cleaning up and maintaining the breakfast dining area. Participants must have good communication and customer service skills, as this is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.
