Position: Housekeeping, Front Desk
Position Available: 3 positions
Hourly wage: $13 per hour
Job Description:
As a housekeeper, participants are responsible for cleaning (washing, dusting, vacuuming and
tidying) guest rooms and property common areas. Job duties include picking up after a guest,
preparing fresh linens (doing laundry), making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing
floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning the
bathrooms, toilets, sinks and showers. Keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and
the bathrooms stocked with supplies. Housekeepers will be using cleaning chemicals. Laundry
will consist of less than 15% of the job duties total time. The participants may be running the
front desk periodically, and those duties include checking guests in and out, cleaning front
desk, making room keys, cleaning lobby, helping with breakfast counter, and taking payments
for room. Participants are responsible for managing the phones as well.

The employer will arrange housing and other resources for

Housing:
Employer will allow participants to share a large, fully furnished hotel
room on-site at the property. Participants will share 4 per room.
Participants will have a microwave and mini refrigerator. Hotel kitchens
may also be accessed for meal preparation and can access it at any
time. All participants will have individual beds. The property has free
breakfast and shuttle to local attractions.
*The cost for participants is $500 per person per month.
If the participants quit or get fired they must vacate the housing
premises within 72 hours.
WIFI is complimentary with housing. No
charge.
Cultural exchange activities: The City of Port Clinton, commonly known as the Walleye Capital of
the World, is a great destination located on Lake Erie in Ottawa
County, Ohio. The beautiful shoreline community features a natural
preserve that provides habitat for many of the area¶s wildlife species.
