Job Description:
Mountain Adventures Park Operators assist guests in the safe use of various mountain park outdoor attractions, including facilitating the start and finish of the zipline, removal and loading of mountain slide carts, and communicating general information and safety rules to the guests.
Participants will be responsible, but not limited to the following job duties:
– Check tickets
– Assist guests with general resort information
– Instruct guests on how to use adventure activities safely
– Monitor guests during their activities and ensure they are participating in activities in a safe manner
– Assist guests as they load and unload the chairlift, mountain coaster, giant swing, and the soaring eagle zipline
– Assist guests at the entrances and exits of adventure activities
– Load mountain bikes on chair lift which are approximately 25 pounds
– Pick up trash at mountain base and activity areas
– Able to be on their feet for the entire shift
Excellent customer service skills are required.
Participants need to be comfortable working in an open-air area. Some positions require being comfortable at heights of 15 feet or more for extended periods of time. Participants must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather.
