Position: Retail Associate
Position Available: 4 positions (No Preferences)
Hourly wage: $15.16 per hour
Average hours per week: 32 – 40 Hours Per Week Minimum
Job Prerequisites:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Strong communication and customer service skills when assisting guests
- Physical ability to lift, push, and carry linens, supplies, and equipment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the safe handling of housekeeping tools and chemical cleaning agents
- Attention to detail to maintain cleanliness standards and ensure that the store remain in good conditions and atmosphere.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Job Descriptions:
- Handle sales in an accurate manner which will include maintaining a daily bank, entering sales in a cash register, taking money
- Counting out correct change, giving change to guests
- Completing credit card transactions
- Wrap items and/or placing items in bags for guests.
- Greet all guests as they enter the store in a timely manner.
- Assist or advise guests on their purchases.
- Suggest other merchandise items to go with the guest’s original selection.
- Stock and inventory of merchandise items as well as displaying the product and designing store layout.
- Maintain and clean all retail areas including the stockroom, display areas, floors, and cash register/check-out area.
- Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency situations, damages, and potential safety hazards.
- Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints of guests.
- Participants may be asked to perform other duties as assigned
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advance (A, B+, B only)
