Position: Ride Attendant- Tom Foolery’s
Position Available: 1-2 Positions
Hourly wage: $15.00 per hour
Bonus comments: Good performance is rewarded with tokens that are redeemable for various prizes. Employee rate on park admission.
Overtime details: 1.5x normal rate. Overtime may be offered at times but not guaranteed.
Job prerequisites:
- Ability to work in frequent noise from a busy and large Indoor Theme Park
- Ability to work with U.S. currency and perform basic math skills
- Ability to learn and operate cash register or POS system.
- Ability to safely exert 25 lbs. of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects such as boxes.
- Ability to stand for the entire shift while moving and stationary position, +8 hours.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, kneel, bend frequently.
- Ability to use strong visual, hearing, and physical senses needed to keep our workspace safe, clean, and welcoming for every customer.
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to maintain grooming and clothing standards.
- Ability to maintain professional and positive attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and efficiency
- Excellent English required.
- Available to work weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays
- 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel, theme park, or related field helpful but not required.
Participant is required to live at the housing facilities provided in this offer. The job is tied to the housing, so loss of employment means participant must vacate housing. Likewise, if participant is evicted from housing, participant is no longer able to work at Kalahari.
Job description:
– Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional entertainment experience for all of our guests. Each ride sales associate’s primary objective is to show our guests a safe, fun time, and deliver the ultimate in customer service.
- Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
- Inform guests of ride information such as height restrictions and length of ride time.
- Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy and offer options for any rides that are not operating during that time.
- Approach guests, greet them, and deliver sales pitches.
- Maintain Safety First Standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Complete ride check offs at the beginning of every shift.
- Maintain clean service areas on a continuous basis.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates as situations arise. • Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Handle cash and complete transactions using micros cash register.
- Be able to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Indoor Theme Park as directed by the General Manager or immediate supervisor.
- Long periods of standing are required (up to 8 hours)
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B only)
