Caseville is home of one of Michigan’s most popular beaches as well as the iconic 10 day Cheeseburger Festival featuring burger stands on every corner, live music, vendors & retailers and a crazy parade! Population 700. A unique mix of small-town charm and modern conveniences located on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron in Eastern Michigan. Approx. 2.5 hours from Detroit, Michigan. Weather – Temperatures range between 55 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (13-27 degrees Celsius)

Position: Back of House
Position Available: 2 Position
Back of House- Expediter, food runner, dishwasher, line cook, prep cook, food prep, and salad cook.
All positions require cleaning and you may be asked to work in multiple roles based on your skills.
Pay Rate – $12.00 per hour.
Average Hours – 32+ Overtime- available but not guaranteed at $18/hr.
Start Date: May 20 – June 1st
End Date: September 1st to 7th
Employment Conditions:
Advanced English skills for interacting with customers.
Uniform –Beachy’s shirt $15. Finger tip length shorts, pants with no holes, no facial hair and closed toe shoes. Grooming – Must be presentable and clean.
Social Security Number – Approximately seven days after you check into the program you will apply for a social security card. You will be able to work before you receive your card.
Housing and Transportation:
Overview of housing situation – Multiple houses/cottages.
Housing Fees – Rent is $100 per week. You will need to pay $200 housing deposit on arrival.
Housing Deposit Refund Policy – $200 of your housing deposit is eligible for return.
You must work full program dates and leave housing clean and undamaged.
Transportation- Transit bus $5 round trip. Housing is 8 miles from your job; you will not be able to walk/ride a bike.
Housing is located on the water and is fully furnished but it is located 8 miles outside of Caseville. Grocery store is ¼ mile from the house.
