Position: Housekeeping
Position Available: 4 positions
Hourly wage: $16 per hour
Average number of days per week: 32-40 hours per week
Job Description:
Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and property common areas, including hallways. Participants will also be expected to act in a public relations capacity by providing information and assistance to the guests.
- Greeting guests with a smile
- Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor
- Following and complying with cleaning procedures as trained
- Following cleaning checklists for daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
- Adhering to established federal and state safety regulations and guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Ensuring the safety of fellow staff and resort guests
- Reporting customer problems, requests, or complaints and reporting any property damage immediately to staff supervisors.
- Housekeepers will be using cleaning chemicals to sanitize surfaces, mop floors, and clean bathrooms, including toilets.
- Participants will be using the vacuum cleaner to clean carpets.
- Participants will be taking out trash and re-lining trash baskets.
- Participants are required to attend monthly team meetings.
- Others as assigned.
English Required skills: Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+, C)
Start Date: May 20th – June 2nd, 2024
End Date: August 30th – September 7th, 2024
