Job prerequisites:

Job Descriptions:
Operations Technicians play a key role in preparing and maintaining the facility for a wide variety of events. This position focuses on event setup, cleaning, and teardown-helping ensure that everything is in place and ready for guests, from sports competitions to large conferences, or small meetings.
Participants in this role will primarily be cleaning up after events, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning windows. Additionally participants will be setting up equipment such as pipe and drape, tables and chairs, staging, and athletic flooring. After events, they help take everything down and return the space to a clean, usable state. Regular cleaning and sanitation duties are also part of the job, both before, during, and after events.
This position involves physical tasks such as moving equipment, extensive walking, cleaning large areas, and using cleaning products safely. Working as part of a team and following instructions from supervisors is essential. The average number of hours per week listed in this agreement is based on normal business needs. Because this is seasonal work, hours may change during the program. The number shown is a weekly average for the full program, not a guaranteed number of hours each week.
Hours may sometimes be lower. This can happen due to personal reasons (such as schedule requests or illness) or outside factors like weather (very hot or cold temperatures, low snowfall, natural disasters), transportation issues, or changes in business needs. In these situations, the host organization will try to distribute available hours fairly based on role, performance, and availability. There are at least 2 weeks that the participant can expect to work less than 30h/week because of holidays or events.
Participants are expected to be available for a flexible work schedule. This may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedules and shift lengths may change depending on business needs.
Will be using cleaning chemicals.
