Position: Ride Operator (Males Only)
Position Available: 2 Positions
Hourly wage: $12.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours per week minimum
Overtime details: Overtime is possible, but is not guaranteed. Anything worked over 40 hours will be paid straight time (Seasonal overtime exempt)
Tips: Yes (tip pool at each attraction)
A tip-out is a portion of tips that may be shared with other employees. Tip-out rules are determined by the Host Company and may be based on sales, tips received, or the employer’s tip-sharing system
Bonus: Yes
Bonus comments: As long as you have no attendance or behavior issues, work incidents, and arrive and depart on your expected start/end date, you may be eligible for a $300 bonus

Job Descriptions:
As a Ride Operator at Broadway at the Beach, you will play a vital role in the guest experience. This male-only position includes operating a variety of rides and attractions while rotating between different locations throughout the property. You’ll ensure that guests enjoy a safe, exciting, and memorable experience at one of Myrtle Beach’s top entertainment destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate rides safely and efficiently, ensuring all guests are properly seated, secured, and ready before activating the ride.
Assist guests in boarding and exiting rides, including helping young children or those who need assistance with safety belts and harnesses.
Maintain constant awareness of ride operations and guest behavior to prevent unsafe actions and respond quickly to potential hazards.
Monitor ride areas, enforce safety rules, and communicate with guests in a friendly and respectful manner.
Rotate between multiple ride locations and attractions across Broadway at the Beach throughout your work period.
Perform opening and closing procedures, including safety checks and test runs.
Keep ride areas clean and organized—including seats, platforms, guest lines, and surrounding areas—through tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and power washing.
Manage access to ride areas by verifying guest passes or tickets.
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing guest questions, concerns, or complaints with professionalism.
Communicate any incidents, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Attend required team meetings and participate in training sessions as assigned.
Maintain a professional, safety-first mindset at all times.
Be prepared to relocate between job stations or assist at alternate attractions as needed.
