Position: Sales Clerk
Position Available: 3 positions
Hourly wage: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour

Overtime details: Overtime rate: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Bonus: Bonuses offered for employees who perform over and above
expectations and complete the entire working obligation.
Estimated hours per week: 36-40 per week
Job Description:
As a sales or retail associate, participants will be re-stocking, working the cash desk at the check out, assisting customers with merchandise as well as helping with questions or problems. They will also be straightening the store and cleaning the store during quiet hours or before or after the store is open. Additional duties include setting up displays, arranging merchandise and stamping or tagging pricing on merchandise. Sales clerks may also need to keep a record of sales, prepare inventory of stock, or order merchandise. Participants must have a working knowledge of U.S. currency and must be friendly and courteous to customers and have excellent customer service skills. Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.

Housing Costs: $160.00 per student per week

Virginia Beach is a resort town with busiest time begins Memorial Day weekend and goes through Labor Day weekend. It is possible for hours to have peak times during off season when the town schedules special events.
