Kitchen Assistant
Position Summary:
The Kitchen Assistant supports daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced pierogi deli
environment. This role involves food preparation, cooking assistance, maintaining cleanliness
and sanitation standards, and ensuring high-quality food presentation and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of pierogi fillings (potato, cheese, meat, sauerkraut, etc.)
Help assemble, fill, seal, and portion pierogi according to deli standards
Boil, sauté, or fry pierogi as directed
Prepare additional menu items such as soups, sides, and sandwiches
Maintain proper food storage and labeling procedures
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Wash, sanitize, and organize kitchen equipment and utensils
Keep prep areas clean and stocked throughout shifts
Assist with receiving and organizing inventory
Support kitchen team during busy service periods
Dispose of waste properly and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
Server
Position Summary: The Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The Server maintains a friendly, professional attitude while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet guests promptly and courteously Present menus and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials Take accurate food and beverage orders Enter orders into the POS system correctly Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner Check on guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns Process payments accurately (cash, card, etc.) Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and team members Assist with opening and closing side work duties
Cashier
Position Summary: The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role involves handling payments, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, assisting customers with questions, and maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area. Key Responsibilities: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Accurately take customer orders (if applicable) Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, and debit transactions Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as needed Maintain an accurate cash drawer and balance at the end of each shift Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions Maintain cleanliness of checkout and front counter areas Assist with stocking merchandise, supplies, or grab-and-go items Follow all company policies and cash-handling procedures Support team members during busy periods
