  • Barista: 12.00 hourly + Tips
  • Dining Room Attendant and In-room Dining: $14.00 hourly + Tips

Meals details: Yes, participants can use the Associate Cafeteria for all meals. This cost is lumped into the weekly housing rent deduction.

Job prerequisites:

  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to communicate respectfully and work in a team atmosphere. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in hospitality preferred.

Job Descriptions:

In this position, participants will be expected to train as a dining room attendant, in room dining personnel and barista. Based on business needs and individual skill sets, participants may be assigned to one area or rotate through multiple stations.

Dining room attendant responsibilities include but are not limited to; maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation within the food and beverage division. Thoroughly wash and neatly store all serving ware, cookware and utensils utilized in food prep and service. Reset tables for new guests in the dining area. Responsible for transporting all necessary food items from the kitchen to the dining room as soon as possible while following all standards of service. Participants assigned to a given position may not be required to perform all the responsibilities listed above on one given day, but must be flexible and willing to do any and all items listed above. This is primarily a cleaning position.

Based on individual skill sets and business needs, participants in this role may receive additional training for a server position. Servers will take guest food orders, carry food and drinks to tables, handle billing and any guest questions, as necessary.

In room dining responsibilities include but are not limited to; The In-Room Dining Cashier will be the primary point-of-contact for our guests who wish to experience a five-diamond quality in-room meal or beverage experience. This person will close checks to the correct account and ensure servers have all the information they need to deliver orders efficiently and correctly. The In-Room Dining Cashier also facilitates amenity deliveries, calls back guests to ensure every aspect of their order was delivered to their satisfaction and does whatever it takes to ensure timely and accurate service.

Barista responsibilities include but are not limited to; Baristas’ responsibilities are to handle all payment transactions for all food/beverage, maintain well-stocked shelves, keep ALS clean at all times, and provide superior customer service. Baristas must have familiarity with daily specialties. Handle all “point-of-sale transactions correctly. Balance all work at the end of shift, count change at end of shift and balance bank. Performs other duties as required by supervisor. Know how to read all in house banquet events for upcoming business. Know where all items are kept in the general storeroom and kitchen. Familiarity with all POS systems and bank procedures.

It is extremely important that applicants for this role are willing to be flexible and work in multiple areas of the hotel.

Details:
  • Some housing is on site and some are a short shuttle ride away. Most housing is a short shuttle ride away (15 minutes). The premium housing is on site but is more expensive.
  • Omni requires participants to stay in Omni provided accommodations. There are some dorms on the property and some nearby. The free shuttle is provided. Cost for housing is up to $155.00, along with a $10 weekly refundable deposit. There is an employee cafeteria that provides three meals daily  

Housing locations and costs are below:  

 All prices include $10/week security deposit that participant gets back upon departure if room is left in good condition. Prices include transportation around resort and meals in the cafeteria.  

Transportation details: Free Shuttle transportation on a bus back and forth. Please note the shuttles run on a on demand schedule and can take a long time to arrive. Plan accordingly.
