Job Description:
Please note participants must be able to:
- Work with chemicals
- Able to Lift/carry up to 25lbs/11kg
You will work as a Room Attendant as part of the housekeeping team. You will receive training and guidance from your supervisor and will be expected to maintain clean, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms while following hotel standards and safety procedures.
- Cleaning and preparing guest rooms and bathrooms according to hotel standards.
- Making beds, changing linens, and replacing towels and guest supplies.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning surfaces.
- Removing trash and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Checking rooms for cleanliness and reporting maintenance issues or damaged items to your supervisor.
- Replenishing guest amenities and supplies as needed.
- Following instructions regarding cleaning products, equipment, and hotel procedures.
- Being friendly, courteous, and engaging when interacting with guests and projecting a positive and professional image of the company.
- Cleaning Products & Chemicals
- You will work with cleaning products, disinfectants, sanitizers, detergents, and other housekeeping chemicals. You will receive training on their proper use and handling.
You will be expected to:
- Follow all product labels, safety instructions, and hotel procedures.
- Use gloves and other protective equipment when required.
- Never mix cleaning chemicals.
- Properly store cleaning products.
- Immediately report spills, accidents, or chemical exposure to your supervisor.
- Please note that you must be comfortable working with cleaning products and chemicals. If you have any known allergies or sensitivities to cleaning products, chemicals, fragrances, or other substances that could affect your ability to safely perform the job, please communicate this before beginning work.
This is a physically active position. You must be in good physical health and be able to,
- Stand and walk for most or all of your shift.
- Walk up and down stairs as required.
- Frequently kneel, bend, reach, stoop, push, and pull.
- Make beds and clean bathrooms and other areas of guest rooms.
- Push housekeeping carts and move supplies throughout the property.
- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
- Perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout your shift.
- Positive attitude
English Required skills: Advance – Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+, C)
