- This role requires emotional toughness and it may not be suitable for individuals who are overly sensitive to high-pressure environments.
- Advanced English is essential for effective communication in the workplace and with customers. • Participants must be willing to handle pork, perform cooking tasks, engage in cleaning duties, and remove rubbish.
- Participants must be flexible and open to training in all positions within the restaurant.
- The employer owns additional franchises on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Participants may be assigned hours at the “Chicken Guy” restaurant upon arrival, flexibility is key.
- Participants will be required to work on peak business days, which typically include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Proficiency in basic math and familiarity with U.S. currency is necessary for handling financial transactions.
- Participants should be willing to study the menu prior to arrival.
- Participants are required to be outgoing and ready to dance. Smiling, singing into ketchup bottles, twirling straws, and learning dances to classic songs are all important parts of the job.
- Participants should feel comfortable living in an urban setting.
- Participants must be independent and able to arrange their own housing

Regular cleaning, including toilets, is a significant part of the job. At Johnny Rockets, there’s an added element where you have to stop what you are doing and dance. Effective communication and teamwork are essential for smooth operations. Irregular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, are a requirement. The fast-paced nature can be stressful, it is important to maintain professionalism when interacting with difficult customers. Restaurant managers are demanding as they are responsible for ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly.
