Job prerequisites:
ILTP Lifeguard License or Equivalent, Enrolled/Graduated High School or Equivalent. We ask that you submit a video(s) showing you doing the following skills:
Minimum: (shallow water) 50 yard continuous swim, 5 feet 10 lb brick retrieval
Maximum: (special facilities) 200 yard continuous swim, 9 feet 10lb brick retrieval, 2 minute hands free tread.
Have to be able to walk or stand for an extended period of time and be able to work in both wet and dry stations.
Job Description:
Provide general oversight, “Gold Standard” safety, and excellent customer service for guests/swimmers frequenting Soundwaves operated by Jeff Ellis Management, LLC.
Lifeguards must consistently perform the following duties:
– Maintain vigilance of guests/swimmers by consistently scanning swimmer protection zones to maintain the E&A “10/20 Protection Rule”
– Enforce safety rules, riding instructions, and regulations for the safety of guests/swimmers
– Render aid by rescuing distressed swimmers
– Provide first aid and emergency care for guests/swimmers who suffer injuries or sudden illness
-Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere when assisting guests
-Perform additional tasks as assigned
