Position: Groundskeeper
Position Available: 2 positions
Hourly wage: $15.00/Hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours weekly average
Meals details: There is a 50% employee meal discount in each one of Seward Hospitality Group’s dining establishments.

Job prerequisites:
Must be able to stand for the duration of your shift, work with cleaning chemicals and lift up to 25 lbs. Must be willing to work outside in a variety of weather conditions. The host would like to hire participants who are in their first or second year of school, and would like to exclude seniors from applying. The host also prefers applicants who are majoring in the hospitality industry and have a keen desire to work in the service industry. A Zoom interview with the host employer is required prior to placement.

Job Descriptions:
The Grounds person is responsible for maintaining equipment and materials, and for ensuring adequate stock levels of consumables for campground guests. You will ensure the clean, well-groomed appearance of trees, shrubs, flowers and lawns, and keep the grounds free from harmful insects and plant diseases. Additional tasks may be assigned by management, as necessary.

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B)
Start Date: May 7 – June 10, 2026
End Date: September 1 – September 7, 2026

Cost Amount: $500 per month
Cost Details: $250 deducted from paycheck biweekly
Transportation details: Participants can walk or ride a bike to work. Housing is located adjacent to the bike path. It is a 15-30 minute walk, depending on location/ speed.
