Tips: The room attendant will share tips. No tips for houseman position.
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours weekly minimum
Number of days per week: 4-6 days per week
Job Prerequisites:
- Must agree to do either Room Attendant or Houseman position.
- Must have a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor when interacting with hotel guests.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English, as well as have basic math skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs maximally and 10 lbs frequently.
- Must have proper motor skills for cleaning rooms quickly.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift of 6 to 8 hours and move quickly while carrying items as well as stretch, bend and kneel frequently.
- The host employer would like to conduct a zoom or phone interview prior to placement.
Job Description :
In this position, participants will work either as Room Attendants or Housemen. Positions will be assigned to participants shortly after arrival based on the host employer’s needs. Participants will lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and stand for the duration of their shift. Participants assigned to a given position may not be required to perform all the responsibilities listed above on one given day, but must be flexible and willing to do any and all items listed above.
Please note, this work location is a resort with a variety of departments and roles. The host is looking for candidates who are motivated to cross train in a variety of departments to assist where necessary.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+)
Start Date: May 7th – May 31st, 2025
End Date: August 31st – September 7th, 2025

Meals details: Staff Meals are provided 1-2 times a day, 7 days a week. 50% discount on all other food.

Transportation details: Housing is located within walking distance of a market and restaurants. The employer will assist with communicating transportation options to and from the worksite.
