Job Descriptions:
We are on the hunt for applicants with previous kitchen experience to join our talented team and help prepare meals according to our standard recipes. In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare high-quality meals that meet the chef’s exact specifications. As a Dishwasher at Drift, you will be an essential part of our kitchen team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area. Your role ensures that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized efficiently, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand. Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before returning them to the kitchen or dining area. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including emptying trash and recycling bins. Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and maintain hygiene standards. Assist with basic food prep and kitchen cleaning tasks as needed. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager. Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils in a timely manner. Help with organizing and storing clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
