Job Description:
ALL STUDENTS must maintain a professional appearance, including pulled-back hair, proper hygeine practices (Handwashing), and wearing closed-toe shoes. Host prefers Monday – Thursday for an arrival day, Students flying in should arrive at the closest airport, Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP).
I have the biggest and busiest ice cream shop in town. Port Aransas is the biggest tourist destination because we have a great beach and a fun atmosphere. I need several people to help me serve ice cream cones, milkshakes, sundaes and more desserts. It is a very fast paced, high energy job. Everyone does the same work. You will learn every aspect of the job. So it is important that we all communicate with each other and help each other. You will learn how to run a business not just be my employee. It is a fun job. You will meet tons of people and learn all the English you want. You will also make very good tips. With my hourly pay and the tips you will average $15-20 an hour.
You must be able to lift the ice cream tubs. And move fast. This is a high energy fast paced job. Standing for entire shift, Handling cleaning chemicals

It is a very busy shop open from 10 in the morning until 11 at night. The atmosphere is high energy. We play great music. There is no uniform. Just look nice and wear closed toe shoes.
The housing is the best in town. It is close to the beach and there is a private pool and a public neighborhood pool. I provide bicycles. The town is small but it becomes huge in the summer with all the tourists. There are a lot of restaurants and live music. The nearest big city is 25 minutes away. Corpus Christi has a big shopping mall.
Most students want to also visit San Antonio and the nearby towns. There is even the opportunity to go to a Mexican border town. If you want to make good money and have fun this is it!
