Position: Lifeguard
Position Available: 8 positions
Hourly wage: $18.00 per hour
Overtime: exempt
Bonus: $500*
Bonus Comment: must work a minimum of 65 days to qualify and Memorial Day or Labor Day weekend (training days are not included) An additional $100 bonus is available if you work Saturday-Monday of Memorial Day Weekend as well as an added $100 if you do the same for Labor Day Weekend
Estimated hours per week: 40-60 employer is overtime exempt
Job prerequisites:
- Must be physically fit and a strong swimmer.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 10-100 pounds.
- Must be able to swim 500 meters in 10 minutes or less.
Job Description:
Under regular supervision, performs responsible lifesaving work in the Beach Services Division. Work involves using judgement in dealing with dangerous or unusual situations, exercising safety practices and procedures. Working in an outdoor beach environment in various weather conditions including rain storms and high heat advisories.
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B)
Start Date: May 5th – June 2nd, 2024
End Date: September 2nd – September 7th, 2024
