Job Prerequisites:

1. Students must be friendly to customers, have a great personality and be willing to work with people on a daily basis.
2. Must be willing to work hard and be on your feet 8 hours

more per day.

3. Must like to work with families and children.

 

Job Description :

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort recipes and guest requests.
• Operate bar equipment, such as blenders, mixers, and draft beer systems.
• Ensure proper portion control and accurate pouring of drinks.
• Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly, professional conversations.
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about drink options.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption and address any concerns appropriately.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, including glasses, garnishes, and beverages.
• Perform routine checks of bar equipment to ensure functionality.
• Restock inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and room charges.
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer and complete end-of-shift reports as required.
• Adhere to all state and local alcohol service laws and resort policies.
• Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Work closely with other bartenders, servers, and resort staff to ensure seamless service.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for events or busy service periods.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Start Date: May 29th – May 30th, 2025

End Date: August 20th – September 7th, 2025

 

Housing Information

Housing assisted by: Employer

Housing Cost: $25 per student per week

Transportation to worksite: Walking. Students will be living in a camper located on site at the campground so they will be able to walk to work.
