Position: Ride Operator & Game Attendant
Position Available: 3-6 positions
Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
Wage comments: End of season performance bonus worth up to $1.00 for every hour worked during the summer in addition to your $16.00 per hour.
Estimated hours: 32-55 hours per week on average In the early and late season that can go as high as 60 hours per week

Our customers come to the park to have fun and smile but it is our responsibility to keep them safe while in the park. Our employees must also be happy, helpful and ready to go above and beyond for the children and adults visiting the park. If you like to smile and watch children smile, Funland is the place for you! All participants must be able to ride a bike and should have a positive demeanor and be comfortable working with children and families. A high level of English is needed.
Job Descriptions:
As a Ride Operator & Game Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. In this position, you’ll receive comprehensive training to operate our amusement rides, as well as the various games throughout the park. Each day, you’ll rotate between rides and games, giving you a well-rounded experience and the chance to work with a variety of team members, fostering a fun and friendly atmosphere. Teamwork is essential to our success, and we strive to make every day enjoyable for both our staff and guests.
Ride Operator & Game Attendant
- Operate our 18 amusement rides
- Operate our 16 amusement games
- Operate the Jungle of Fun, Food Cart, Haunted Mansion Photo Stand and more.
- Work with children and the public every day.
- Give out prizes to customers that win one of our games.
- Work outside at the beach all summer making memories to last a lifetime.
- Ride Operator:
- Ensure the safety of all guests as the top priority by following detailed ride operation procedures.
- Collect tickets from guests before they board the rides, ensuring that both children and adults are safely seated.
- Carefully monitor rides in operation, attending to any potential rider needs.
- Assist guests in safely exiting the ride and prepare for the next group of riders.
- Game Attendant:
- Collect payments for each game and distribute prizes to winners.
- Work quickly and efficiently to allow as many guests to participate as possible.
- Maintain a friendly, smiley, and attentive demeanor, creating an inviting experience for all guests.
No matter the task, a positive attitude and strong attention to detail are key in providing a fantastic experience at Funland.

We schedule fun activities which are listed to the left. Funland employs over 165 high school and college students each summer to work along side of our family.
