Job Description : Cook $20 per hour
Coordinate the menus with the dining committee. Order and or purchase locally all of the ingredients required for the meals to be served, additionally oversee the preparation of the breakfast and lunch buffets and do light food prep for the Dinner cook. All work to prepare and serve the meals must be accomplished in a timely fashion. Must have experience as a cook.
The Employer are looking to hire someone who may not necessarily have formal experience, but does need to have an interest in cooking.
Estimated hours per week: 32 hour per week
Resort Summary Svecia Country Club is a family-owned private club that has been in existence for 100 years. The property is 80 acres of virgin forest, manicured lawns and 700' of lake shore on a chain of Lakes called the "Spread Eagle Chain". The dining room has expansive views of the lake and is a beautiful place to work. There are Kayaks, canoes and occasionally a small fishing boat with fishing gear for use by the staff in their leisure hours as well as ample opportunities water ski, Wake Board and go tubing. There are also trails through the forest for hiking and many nearby rivers for whitewater rafting. There are bicycles available for use by the staff as well as a large town, Iron Mountain, MI nearby with great restaurants, pubs and shopping to explore. And here is always the chance to see the Northern lights late in the evening set against fabulous star filled skies.
