Overtime details: Time and a half after 40 hours

Job Description :
Host: Seats guests and manages the seating chart. Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow. Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manners. Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
Employers may ask participants to perform other duties related to their job type.
Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
Participants may be handling pork products.
Cook: Cooks are responsible for preparing and cooking food orders per recipe guidelines. Cooks prepare batters, meat dishes and vegetables. Cooks provide back up to the line during busy hours, including restocking and maintaining workstations to assure plenty of product is always available. Cooks clean all workstations at the end of the day, sweeping and mopping the floors.

Start Date: May 7th – June 25th, 2025
End Date: August 20th – September 7th, 2025
Meals details: A discounted shift meal is provided an hour before or after participants shifts. Details will be outlined during training.
Housing Information
Housing assisted by: Employer
Cost of housing: $400.00 plus utilities per person per month
Approx. cost of utilities:
- Person: Electric: $20.00 per month
- Internet: $10.00 per month
- Trash: $10.00 per month
Brief description of housing: Participants are provided a shared housing next to the work site. Host has 3 properties. One is a 4 bedroom, one is a 3 bedroom and one is a 2 bedroom. All properties are next to each other. 2 to 3 participants are assigned per room depending on size; each with own bed.
Facilities are fully furnished with full kitchens and shared sitting room; laundry facilities are onsite or within distance. All bedrooms are separated by gender, but housing is sometimes is co-ed.
Transportation details: Walk: approx 15 minutes, Biking: approx 5 minutes
Why choose us?
Employers will take participants to Green Bay in order to apply for their Social Security cards. Employers will provide transportation free of charge. Employer also participates in the Door County Visitor Bureau which organizes Social Security application events held twice throughout the summer.
Cultural exchange activities
Sturgeon Bay has exceptional visual beauty and tourists have been coming to the town and the surrounding area since the early 1900’s. The town has the most accessible shoreline of all the Door County communities so participants will easily be able to go swimming, jet skiing, kayaking, boating or paddle boarding. Almost everything in the town is within walking distance and there are many charming shops and galleries set in century-old barns. Additional attractions include wildlife preserves, marinas, parks, historical and cultural sites, camping, biking, hiking and festivals and events.
