Position: Housekeeper, Cook
Position Available: 3 Positions
Hourly wage: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour
Overtime: Yes
Number of days per week: 5 days
Meals details: A meal plan is provided for $150 biweekly. It will be deducted directly from the paycheck.
Job Prerequisites:
Housekeeper: Must have no allergies to cleaning chemicals and be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Cook: Must be able to handle pork products and have no allergies to cleaning chemicals
Job Description :
Housekeeper: Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare & clean the houseboats, lodge rooms, and public areas for guests.
- Friendly and efficient service
- Good communication skills
- Promoting a professional work environment
- Maintaining a sanitary environment
Cook: Must keep area clean and sanitary while preparing food. Includes slicing, peeling and dicing ingredients using sharp knives, blades and kitchen equipment. Will also be using hot stovetops and ovens to cook food. You will wash pots and pans by hand in very hot water, and use the dishwashing machine for glasses, dishes and cutlery and then stack clean items in the appropriate area. The kitchen needs to be in sanitary, tidy & clean condition at all times. You will also be responsible for removing trash. The line cook will be able to work the line at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will be expected to work as a team as well as independently. This position requires organization, ability to keep the work area clean and up to sanitization standards, knife skills, prep skills, and 1+ years of restaurant level cooking experience. Experience with the ability to handle high volume, stay composed, control the flow and great communications skills are a necessity.
