Position Available: 3 positions
Hourly wage: $12.50+tips – $13.50+tips per hour
- Cashier $12.50+tips per hour
- Barista $13.50+tips per hour
- Chambermaid/Housekeeper $12.50+tips per hour
Bonuses:
- Yes. A bonus of $10.00 will be awarded for each working day, payable upon the successful completion of the contract.
- Significant Savings: 50% off any single item purchased at the store. End-of-Contract Bonus: A total stipend of $10.00 for each working day completed, issued upon contract fulfillment. Local Commuting Aid: Complimentary use of a bicycle for convenient transportation within the local area.

Job Descriptions:
Barista (Tips)
Barista is needed to deliver top-notch coffee and service. Core duties: prepare beverages like espresso, lattes, and custom drinks with precision; operate POS systems for accurate transactions; maintain inventory and sanitize equipment per health codes; assist with food display if needed. You’ll greet guests, handle orders under pressure, and create a welcoming vibe. Requirements: at least one year of barista experience, strong customer skills, ability to stand 7-plus hours. The position encompasses more than strictly barista functions. Duties will include supporting other areas of the shop and performing additional tasks assigned by management.

Cashier (Tips)
Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently and accurately processing all sales transactions. This role is crucial to the customer experience, requiring a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining store policies and financial accuracy. Key Responsibilities Process Transactions: Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to ring up merchandise, apply discounts, process returns, and manage various payment methods (cash, credit, debit, gift cards). Customer Service: Greet every customer with a friendly and positive attitude. Answer customer questions, provide store information, and resolve transaction-related issues promptly and courteously. Financial Management: Handle cash and maintain an accurate cash drawer, performing opening, closing, and reconciliation procedures at the beginning and end of each shift with minimal variance. Product Knowledge: Maintain a basic understanding of current sales, promotions, and product locations to assist customers effectively and suggest complementary purchases. Maintain Area: Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.) at all times. This role requires flexibility. While primarily responsible for cashier duties, the successful candidate will be expected to perform various operational tasks around the shop as needed to support the overall team and store function.

Counter Worker (Tips) $12.50
The Ice Cream Sales Associate is the face of our shop, responsible for creating a positive and memorable experience for every customer. This role involves serving various ice cream products, handling transactions accurately, maintaining exceptional hygiene standards, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the shop. Key Responsibilities Customer Service: Warmly greet and engage customers, answer questions about flavors and ingredients (including allergy information), and provide thoughtful recommendations. Product Preparation & Serving: Efficiently scoop, prepare, and serve all menu items, including cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, and specialized desserts, maintaining consistent presentation and portion control. Cash Handling: Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, process cash and credit transactions, and ensure accurate cash reconciliation at the end of the shift. Hygiene & Safety: Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines. This includes proper handling of food, frequent handwashing, sanitizing serving areas, and maintaining excellent personal hygiene. Shop Maintenance: Assist with general cleaning duties, including washing dishes, wiping down counters and tables, restocking inventory (scoop freezer, toppings, napkins), and maintaining restroom cleanliness. Inventory & Restock: Monitor stock levels of ice cream, toppings, and supplies, communicating low inventory to the shift lead or manager. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong commitment to excellent customer service and a positive, energetic attitude. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds (for changing ice cream tubs). Reliable attendance and punctuality, particularly for weekend and evening shifts. Prior experience in food service, retail, or a similar customer-facing role is a plus, but not required (we will train the right attitude!). Team collaboration is essential. In addition to serving customers, this position involves assisting with general shop maintenance and operational support as needed to ensure the store runs smoothly

Chambermaid/Housekeeper (Tips) $12.50
The Housekeeper and Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Key Responsibilities Cleaning & Sanitation: Perform daily cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and scrubbing surfaces in all designated areas. Restroom/Bathroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize bathrooms/restrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, ensuring fixtures are polished and supplies are replenished. Bed Making & Linen Handling: Strip and make beds with fresh linens, ensuring high quality and attention to detail in presentation. Garbage Management: Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly according to established procedures. Supplies & Inventory: Monitor, restock, and organize cleaning supplies, guest room amenities, or facility consumables (e.g., soap, toilet paper). Equipment Care: Properly use, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly. Security & Safety: Adhere strictly to safety standards regarding chemical usage and storage. Follow all company protocols for entry, key control, and reporting lost-and-found items. Reporting: Report any maintenance needs, damages, or safety hazards observed to the supervisor immediately. Team collaboration is essential. This position involves assisting with general operational support and performing additional cleaning and not cleaning tasks as requested by management or required during peak periods
