Position: Resort Worker – The participant could be trained to do any of the following task: Kitchen Utility Worker Guest Room Attendant, Café Worker, or Retail Associate
Position Available: 1 Position
Hourly wage: $12.00 per regular hour. OT rate is $18. per hour
Estimated hours per week: 32 average hours per week (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance). Please understand that average number of hours are projected through whole W&T program, not first couple weeks
Job prerequisites: English and ending date availability. Student must work until the final day on the agreement.
Job description:
Employer is looking for students who will be happy working at the only lodging resort in the beautiful but isolated Zion National Park as a Resort Worker (Dining Room Worker, Kitchen Utility Worker, Guest Room Attendant, Cafe Worker, Gift Shop, Laundry, or Retail Associate). Students must be prepared for physical work
Resort Worker: • Students should be flexible and should be prepared to work in a variety of positions. However, upon arrival the employer will assign you to the certain position role and no changes will be permitted thereafter o Food & Beverage/Kitchen Service
♣ Students should be ready to take orders from customers, prepare and serve food. Clean tables and maintain sanitation standards. Dishwashing, food and veggies preparation. Other duties may be assigned
o Housekeeping ♣ General cleaning, cleaning guests’ rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, making beds, cleaning common area, work in the laundry, vacuuming, taking trash out, mopping, sweeping etc. Other duties may be assigned
o Retailing Operations (very few opening) ♣ Obtaining or receiving merchandise, totaling the bill, accepting payments, and making change for customers. Stocking shelves, counters, or tables with merchandise. Other duties may be assigned.
- Job Change requests are not permitted after arrival
