Position: Lifeguard
Position Available: 4 positions
Hourly wage: $13.00 per hour
Overtime: Yes
Overtime details: 1.5 X Normal rate. Overtime is offered but not guaranteed.
Estimated hours per week: 32
Job Prerequisites: Required skills
- Current certifications in (List required certs as necessary, EX: Red Cross, CPR)
- Must be in good physical condition with 20/20 vision with or without correction and normal hearing.
- Ability to swim 275 meters continuously without stopping.
- Ability to dive down 3 meters and retrieve a brick.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs /5 kg and up to 50lbs/ 23kg on occasion
- Alert and strong attention to detail
- Effective and efficient decision making
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, both in and out of water
- Requires bending, lifting, pushing, climbing, standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in outside elements of heat, humidity, rand and wind
- Outgoing, friendly personalities are best suited for this position.
- Must Read and sign the LifeGuard Skill Acknowledgement and Terms of Agreement.
- Experience preferred.
Job Description :
Lifeguards are responsible for monitoring the well-being of guests, ensuring their safety by preventing and responding to emergency situations both in and out of water. Should an emergency occur, lifeguards are responsible for taking quick and decisive action and providing the appropriate emergency care.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring guest safety and provide exceptional guest service.
- Standing/sitting in and out of water for long periods of time.
- Recognize and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
- Inspect facility as required and report any unsafe conditions or equipment.
- Maintaining skills at a rescue-ready level at all times.
- Remain alert and attentive at all times.
- Participate in regular in-service training sessions.
- Maintain professional lifeguarding practices at all times.
- Keep the facilities and property clean and comfortable for guests.
- Female employees are expected to work even during menstruation.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
English Required skills: Excellent (A, B+, B) only
Start Date: May 7th – 19th, 2025
End Date: August 25th – September 5th, 2025

Cost of housing: $95.00 per student per week
