Position Available: Cart Associate 1 Position / Cashier 3 Positions
Hourly wage: $18.00/Hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours weekly average
Meals details: An employee discount available after student works 90 days.
Job prerequisites:
This host employer is only accepting applicants who have already participated in the program and have their SSN. Applicants for this role need to be comfortable standing for the duration of their shift. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

As a cashier at Walmart, you are more than just an ‘item scanner’. You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate that customers interact with. That’s why it’s so important to smile, greet, and thank every customer.
The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, on weekends, and during a holiday season. There are times when you have to juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scan items, explain a price, bag items properly, count cash back, and keep your area clean–it is important to stay patient and flexible!
