Job Prerequisites:

• Students need to be ready to perform housekeeping jobs and to work at the laundry if needed.
• F&B/Kitchen students can work both in front or back of the restaurant.
• Students must be prepared for high and low hotel operations and work as many hours as possible during high peak business and expect low hours during the slow weeks!
• Able to meet physical qualifications of the job, which include bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and long periods of standing
• Students are prepared to work at any department if needed (such as Housekeeping, Kitchen or F&B).
• Students must be able to perform duties related with the use of all chemicals and cleaning agents.

• All students should be interviewed by The Grand Hotel manager through Skype prior to arrival to the USA. Please make sure to read separate information on Guest Room Attendant, Laundry Attendant, Bellman, Kitchen Utility, Busser, Host and House Person duties and responsibility.
• Students should expect a possibility to work at the sister property, Railway Hotel in Williams, Arizona

Job Descriptions:

• Guest Room Attendant & Laundry: Students will perform general cleaning tasks including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, amenities, removing dirty linens, cleaning outside guest rooms, in hallways and surrounding grounds. Collect linens. Clean, collect trash from the hotel premises.
• Working in the laundry – physically demanding; requires bending, lifting, twisting, pushing and a long period of standing.
• General F&B Worker: Student will work either as a front / back of house. Possible duties can be shift and will be assigned if needed

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advance (A, B+, B, C+ only)

Start Date: March 10^th, 12^th, 17^th, 19^th, 24^th, 26^th, 31^st or April 2^nd, 7^th, 9^th, 14^th of 2026 (Tue.& Thu. Only)

End Date: June 15^th – June 30^th, 2026

Housing Information

Housing assisted by: Employer

Type of housing: Dormitory style with 2-4 persons in one room

Cost Amount: Housing rate at $0.63/day + tax per hour worked, around $100+ tax monthly. Meals provided in employee dining room at additional charge around $9.00 + tax per day

Transportation from housing to worksite: Employer helps with transportation. Van ride required
