Job Descriptions: Housekeeper duties include but are not limited to: ensuring rooms are cleaned to The Edith standard, cleaning all parts of rooms bathrooms and sink areas, dusting, bed making, stocking, vacuuming, checking coworkers rooms to ensure standards are met, helping in other departments like front desk or maintenance as needed, clean & re-stock room carts each day, and complete daily side work. Employees also need to help sort, wash, dry and fold laundry throughout their workday in order to keep laundry continually going. This job is physically demanding including, but not limited to, the ability to walk/stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, lift and carry up to 40lbs. This role is ideal for someone who likes clear guidelines and tasks, likes to work independently or with one other housekeeping specialist and likes consistency. You may be asked to perform tasks outside of your specific job description.
