Hourly wage: $15.25 per hour
Job Prerequisites:
- Advanced English skills for interacting with customers, must pass Discovery & Department training upon arrival to be offered a job.
- The first 3 weeks will be a training period where the hours may be reduced until you are immersed in your full-time schedule. Hours and schedule will vary each week, must be available & able to work holidays, weekdays, and weekends (Saturday, Sunday) as scheduled.
- Must understand seasonal industry shifts may be shortened as needed due to guest attendance, determined by your department and park management and impacts international and domestic employees
- For the lifeguard positions: please see the swim test requirements that are needed. “A video must be received and approved prior to the interview.”
- Brief Introduction of themselves with clear visibility of their face.
- 100 m Swim (Down & Back, no rest, stopping, or touching the bottom of the pool, Only Freestyle and Breaststroke can be used).
- From the wall, push off and swim under water 10 feet and retrieve a 10lb brick (This is to be completed in 5 ft or less)
**They start at the wall of the pool and kick off the wall, swimming 10 ft (in distance) to retrieve the brick from the bottom of the pool. They must be completely under water when swimming to retrieve the brick. Once they’ve gotten to the brick, they just need to pick it up. This can be performed in any depth of water that is not over 5 ft.**
Job Description :
Amusement Park Worker: Actual position will be assigned based on the park’s needs upon arrival. Position could be: Foods, Ride Operations, Retail, Park Services, or Aquatics. All positions will require cleaning, standing for the duration of your shift, working outdoors – in all weather conditions, and excellent customer service skills.
Lifeguard: These staff members have a large amount of guest interaction, and the greatest opportunity to ensure that guests have a safe visit. Job duties include but are not limited to ensuring guest safety, maintaining high standards of safety, maintaining skills at a rescue-ready level at all times, exceptional guest service, assisting with various tasks, including cleaning the park and picking up and removing trash, tubes and assistance with line control.
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B) Only
Start Date: May 7th – June 30th, 2025
End Date: September 1st – 7th, 2025
Housing Information
Housing assisted by: US Sponsor/ Employer
Cost of housing: $150 per student per week
Overview of Housing: Located in apartment style housing units. There will be 2 people per bedroom with a shared living space
