Hourly wage: $13.00 + tips

Tips:Tips are split equally between all front and back-of-house team members based on hours worked. 50% of tips go to the kitchen staff, and 50% go to front-of-house staff.

Estimated hours: 32 hours per week

Job Prerequisites:

Proficient English is required for this position. Applicants must be comfortable working with all food types, including pork and seafood and must not have any sensitivities to cleaning chemicals. *EMPLOYER INTERVIEW REQUIRED*

Job Descriptions:

Servers are responsible for accurately taking food and beverage orders with a positive and professional attitude. They engage with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring an excellent dining experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• We have server positions available for participants with excellent English skills and at least 21 years old. Duties include seating customers, taking orders, serving food, bussing tables, washing dining-ware dishes, keeping dining room and bathrooms clean, re-stocking server supplies, such as beer kegs, ketchup bottles, rolling silverware, etc.. Tips are split equally based on hours worked: 50% for the front-of-house staff and 50% for the back-of-house staff. Wages start at $13 per hour, promotion potential up to $16/hour.

 

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advanced (A, B+, B ONLY)

Cost Amount: $500 per student per month

Cost Details: $250 deducted from paycheck biweekly

Transportation details: Participants can walk or ride a bike to work. Housing is located adjacent to the bike path. It is a 15-30 minute walk, depending on location/ speed.
