Position: Kitchen Help
Position Available:1 Position (1 Male)
Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours weekly average
Meals details: Lunch and dinner meals are offered at a highly discounted rate for all team members.
Job prerequisites:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, have no allergies to cleaning chemicals or restrictions involving handling of foods, including pork, or seafood. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.
Please ensure participants are aware that the uniform cost is $250 taken out over 3 weeks from payroll.
Job Descriptions:
The Kitchen Support personnel will start with our training program. We will work with them to train them on all our stations. Kitchen staff will be afforded the opportunity to start with the basics and work their way up expanding their knowledge, training, and experience. Some of the participant’s responsibilities are ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic. Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately. Sorting, storing, and distributing ingredients. Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting, and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare dishes as needed. Disposing of trash, Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors, and other kitchen tools or areas.
Other tasks may be assigned by management as needed. Based on business needs and individual skill sets, you may be assigned to one area of the kitchen or rotate through multiple areas.
