Job Prerequisites:
Need to have excellent comprehension, good conversational English, and reading. Housekeeping experience is preferred, but not necessary. Must be mature and responsible. Only non-party participants accepted. This is fast-paced and requires physical stamina to do the job properly! No allergy to cleaning products or physical limitations to prevent you from doing your job.
Job Description :
Responsibilities: Clean rental properties, including bathrooms (toilets and showers), kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, and deck areas (barbecues included). Tasks include changing linens, doing laundry, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and overall property upkeep. Requires standing for long periods, bending, lifting up to 20 lbs (9 kg), and climbing stairs.
Requirements: Must have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and attention to detail. Comfortable with cleaning chemicals; the role involves physical tasks like lifting mattresses. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol in the U.S.; underage drinking on the property will lead to immediate termination.
Schedule:
Two shifts: day shift and 4 pm-midnight shift, which may rotate periodically. Expect to work weekends (Friday–Sunday), holidays, and evening shifts. Prompt, efficient work is expected. Slow work to increase hours or any form of timecard fraud will not be tolerated.
Additional Notes:
Job location is at the entrance of Yosemite National Park; applicants must be comfortable with a remote, rural environment with hot summer weather. You’ll encounter local wildlife, insects, and occasional pests. Be prepared to handle these as part of the environment. A one-time, off-site event may take place in June, July, or August, with a $50 fee per participant.
Other Expectations:
You may not have the same shifts or days off as friends. Shifts and hours may vary based on business needs. Consistent attendance is crucial; absences due to other jobs or classes are not permitted. Must be dependable, hard-working, friendly, and trustworthy
