Job Prerequisites:

- Independent adult participants must be outgoing and willing to clean .
- Independent adult participants must be willing to work with meat (pork), cook, clean and remove rubbish.
- Flexible and willing to be trained in all positions .
- Independent adult participants must be comfortable in an urban/city environment.
- Independent adult participants will be required to work on peak business days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Independent adult participants must be comfortable in Co-Ed Housing.
- Basic math skills; must be familiar with U.S. currency prior to arriving.
9 . Must be friendly and able to study the menu prior to arrival.
Expectations: WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT AT WORK: To lift and carry 22kgs, manual dexterity, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stand for long periods of time. Multi-task in a very fast-paced environment. Participants are in contact with sharp knives, boiling liquids, and hot pans. You will work with pork, clean, including washing heavy kitchen mats, breaking down boxes, and removing garbage. Kitchens will be hot. Support, encourage, respect colleagues. Provide courteous, friendly, efficient customer service. Be able to work in a team. AC Food Halls is located in a Casino, there is an indoor smoking section within the area. Independent adult participants will be required to work on peak business days, Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. Cashiers: Basic math skills; must be familiar with U.S. currency prior to arriving. MUST STUDY/LEARN THE AMERICAN CURRENCY.
Job Description :
AC Food Halls (Quick Bites) is a food court in Resorts Hotel & Casino. After the paid training period, managers will determine which position suits the participant. Independent adult participants may work a variety of counter stations, pizza making/cooking, cleaning/busser within the Quick Bites food court. Restaurant possibilities are, The Original Soupman, Famous Famiglia Pizzeria, Haagen Dazs ice cream, Bubbakoo’s Burritos, or Ruby’s Dinette.
Must love to smile and be ready to deliver world-class service and product to guests in a friendly, professional & knowledgeable manner.
- Experience in cash handling and customer service
- Ability to greet customers accurately, take and confirm orders, suggestively sell food items to compliment guest experience, use POS, prioritize work, deliver food, close checks and handle cash/credit card procedures.
- Friendly demeanor
- A positive attitude in order to create an authentic, friendly, enthusiastic, professional environment

Responsibilities:
- Answering Phones – taking down delivery orders and answering any and all questions a guest may have.
. Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
- Preparing and delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Clear professional communication with the kitchen and front of house teams
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Accurately take and place guest orders in POS
- Handle cash, credit and comp transactions
- Open, close and settle all forms of payment
- Food safety and sanitation, proper food handling procedures
. Restocking stations when low and making sure the restaurant is sparkling clean
. Helping out with any and all other restaurant related tasks asked by management.
