Job Description :
Server:(The VUE Boutique Hotel & Boathouse) – Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section *Taking customers’ food and drink orders *Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders *Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant. *Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly *Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant *Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events *Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Bartender: (Natura Treescape Resort) – Welcoming customers at the bar area and bringing an excellent customer service * Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations * Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly * Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer * Cleaning the bar, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces * Taking cash or card payments from customers * Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends * Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers
Chambermaid/Housekeeper:(Natura Treescape Resort, Aloha Beach Resort,The VUE Boutique Hotel & Boathouse) – Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out * Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service * Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor * Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift * Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift * Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests * Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies * Collect and remove trash and debris * Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linen * Report, turn in and log all lost and found items * Clean upholstered furniture * Perform detailed deep cleans when required
Host/Hostess:(Natura Treescape Resort) – Managing bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online * Providing waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked * Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests that’s in line with the restaurant or bar’s. * Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues * Providing personalized service and assistance for large parties of guests. * Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house area * Assisting with the opening and closing of the restaurant * Learning the food and beverage menu
Front Desk:(Natura Treescape Resort) – Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations * Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities * Take payment from customers * Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner * Explain local amenities and attractions to guests * Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+) only**
