Job Description :
Server: Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section *Taking customers’ food and drink orders *Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders *Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks from restaurant. *Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly *Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant *Setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events *Ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
Bartender: Welcoming customers at the bar area and bringing an excellent customer service * Providing knowledgeable and creative drink recommendations * Fulfilling customer drink orders accurately and promptly * Keeping the bar stocked by replacing empty bottles and kegs of beer * Cleaning the bar, washing glasses and wiping down surfaces * Taking cash or card payments from customers * Keeping up to date with the latest drink trends * Verifying the age and checking the identification of potential customers
Chambermaid/Housekeeper: Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out * Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service * Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to supervisor * Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift * Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift * Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests * Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies * Collect and remove trash and debris * Assist with laundry management, including washing, drying, ironing and sorting linen * Report, turn in and log all lost and found items * Clean upholstered furniture * Perform detailed deep cleans when required
Host/Hostess: Managing bookings, either in person, over the phone, or online * Providing waiting times to customers who are not pre-booked * Creating an appropriate atmosphere for guests that’s in line with the restaurant or bar’s. * Providing a point of contact for customer feedback and helping to resolve any customer issues * Providing personalized service and assistance for large parties of guests. * Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met in the front of house area * Assisting with the opening and closing of the restaurant * Learning the food and beverage menu
Restaurant Worker: Restaurant worker duties vary by position, and we typically rotate students through different roles to provide a comprehensive understanding of operations. Positions may include dishwasher, busser, expo, cook, and more. Some roles are eligible for tips, while others are not, allowing students to gain diverse experiences and insights into the restaurant industry.
Front Desk: Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations * Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities * Take payment from customers * Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner * Explain local amenities and attractions to guests * Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B) only**
