Position: Hotel Attendant
Position Available: 1 Position
Hourly wage: $13.00 per hour
Estimated work hours: 32 – 40 Hours average per week
Job Prerequisites:
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift and carry items (like laundry or supplies), and bend or stoop for cleaning tasks.
- Must be able to speak and understand basic English to communicate with guests and co-workers.
- Must have a friendly, positive attitude and enjoy helping people (customer service focus).
- Must be very thorough and focused on keeping things clean and tidy (attention to detail).
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, which may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Description:
As a Hotel Attendant, you will rotate through all four of the following areas.
Houseperson
- Keeps all hotel property areas (not just guest rooms) very clean.
- Prioritizes safety by carefully following procedures for passkeys and entering guestrooms.
- Reports any suspicious activity.
- Requires a commitment to high-quality standards and attention to detail.
Breakfast Attendant
- Prepares and presents the free daily breakfast for guests.
- Needs good communication skills and the ability to work quickly (fast-paced position).
- Involves constant contact with customers.
Room Attendant
- Keeps all guestrooms sparkling clean (highest standards of cleanliness).
- Prioritizes safety by carefully following procedures for passkeys and entering guestrooms.
- Reports any suspicious activity.
- Requires a commitment to high-quality standards and attention to detail.
Laundry Attendant
- Collects, sorts, and cleans the hotel laundry.
- Ensures a constant supply of clean linens for guests.
- Provides high-quality laundry service.
General Requirements for All Roles
- Must follow all rules and standards set by the Host Organization and management.
- Must act as a Brand Ambassador, representing the organization’s culture, mission, and values.
English Required skills:Advanced – Intermediate (A, B+, B ONLY)

Cost Amount: $160.00 per student per week
Details: Host Employer assists with housing, and it will be a Dormitory.
Transportation Details: Transportation options available and might include Public Transportation, Taxi/Shuttle Service, & Ride Share (Uber/Lyft). Transportation is provided to and from work for approximately $42 – $62 per week.
