Position: Fast Food Crew (Cashier and Food Preparer/Grill Person)
Position Available: 1 Positions (Female Only)
Hourly wage: $13.50 per hour
Overtime details: Overtime is not guaranteed, but if the student is approved for one the rate is 1.5 of the regular wage
Average of Hours: 32 average hours per week throughout the program (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance)
Job prerequisites:
Good English. Students ready to work in the fast food environment.
Previous work experience required.
Job Description:
- Take food orders, prepare food, complete transactions, make a change, and clean and stock work areas. Greet customers and work at the cash register.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles. Take food and drink orders and receive payment from customers.
- Prepare and serve beverages such as coffee and fountain drinks.
- Cook the exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously.
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
- Students should be flexible and should be prepared to work in a variety of positions. However, upon arrival the employer will assign you to a certain position/role and no changes will be permitted thereafter.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+ only)
Start Date: May 26th – June 25th, 2025
End Date: August 30th – September 7th, 2025

Cost Amount: Starting at $127.00 + tax per student per week (based on availability).
Transportation from housing to worksite : Students need to take a bus or bike to go to work.
