Position: General Staff (Deli Attendant, Line Cook, Stocker, Produce Clerk, Meat Clerk, Cashier) Students must willing to do various positions
Position Available: 2 Positions
Hourly wage: $10.50 per hour
Ovetime: Possible
Estimated hours per week: An average of 32-40 hours per week and may be eligible to work up to 65 hours per week. Any hours over 40 worked during the week will be paid at time and a half.
Job Prerequisites:
- Deli Attendant: Good English, will work in the ice cream shop as needed
- Line Cook: Good English, experience in the kitchen
- Stocker: Good English
- Produce Clerk: Good English
- Meat Clerk: Good English
- Cashier: Good English
Job Description:
Deli Attendant: you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of deli products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will interact with customers to take orders, answer questions about products, and ensure that each customer leaves satisfied with their experience.
Line Cook: Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies. Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
Stocker: A Stocker is responsible for all product inventory in a store or warehouse. A Stocker’s job is to make sure that the consumers can easily search for and have access to the products they need.
Produce Clerks: Responsible for ensuring the produce section remains clean, orderly and well stocked. While specific tasks can vary depending on the establishment and weighing fruits and vegetables.
Meat Clerk: Responsible for serving customers with fresh meat products. Other duties these employees have include unloading deliveries, portioning meat, pricing meat portions, placing products on display, checking product quality, and answering to customer inquiries.
Cashier: Main cashier duties and responsibilities include ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment, and giving appropriate change. Responsible for counting the contents of the register drawer at the end of each shift and maintaining receipts, records, and withdrawals.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+)
