Job prerequisites:
You must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for the duration of your shift and work with cleaning products. It is important to have strong conversational English to communicate with customers, as well.
Job Descriptions: Applicants in this role should be prepared to assist in multiple roles within the grocery market. You may be assigned to multiple areas or just one during any given shift. Primary roles include cashier, stocker and kitchen helper.
When cashiering, you will operate a POS system, scanning items, handling customer payments, bagging groceries, answering guest questions and maintaining a neat, clean work environment. Stockers will replenish items on the shelves, clean up any messes or put away misplaced product, bringing stock to and from the back room. Kitchen helpers will assist with prepping food, washing dishes, cooking food to store standards. You may be assigned to cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing shelves and counters, etc. Additional tasks may be assigned by the host employer, as necessary.
