Job Prerequisites:
- Housing is tied to this placement. Should participant be dismissed from placement housing will be terminated immediately.
- Must enjoy decorating cakes as a hobby.
- Accuracy and basic math skills are important.
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
- Before accepting this position, please know that you will need to be able to RIDE A BICYCLE. There is no public transportation in the area. You CANNOT learn to ride a bicycle while you are on program.

Job Description :
Specific duties may include but are not limited to any combination of the following:
- Ice cream scoopers provide samples, serve ice cream, and prepare other food items for each customer.
- As an ice cream scooper, you must know all the flavors offered and be able to detail the ingredients to customers, scoop ice cream into cones and cups, and mention special deals or discounts.
- Other duties include keeping track of inventory, restocking, and cleaning the counter and tables regularly and thoroughly.
- You also report any concerns about stock or quality of product to the manager.
- Take orders, process payments, and assist with register operations.
- Scoop ice cream into cones and cups, and restock ice cream flavors.
- Restock bowls, cones, toppings, napkins, and spoons.
- Wipe down surfaces and keep service areas clean and organized.
- Operating the cash register and handling money/credit cards/gift cards.
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B) only
