Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 6-8 hour per day
Job prerequisites:
Cleaning Person: To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
- Must present a well-groomed appearance
- Must perform duties with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to work as a team with other employees
- Ability to use and control various mechanical equipment
- Ability to work around dust
- Ability to transport all supplies to and from work areas
- Must be able to work in areas containing second-hand smoke
- Must be able to operate equipment, including: vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop and broom
- Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals and be able to handle chemical fumes and airborne particles (on occasion)
- Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency
- Must be able to walk, stand, and work on hand and knees for long periods of time
Cook: To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Prep cook experience preferred.
- 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Cashier/Host: To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
- Previous customer service experience in a high volume operation preferred
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Excellent customer service/communication skills
- Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas; able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping menus and table tops
- Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
- Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment
- Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards
- Must maintain good posture and poise throughout shift
Job Description :
Cleaning Person: Your daily responsibilities include:
- Cleans slot machines, in between machines, ash trays, slot bases, trash cans, restrooms, offices, public areas, windows, restaurants, counter tops, furniture, and any other decorative objects in the casino or common areas
- Vacuums carpet, sweeps and mops tile floors, cleans any spills that occur
- Cleans any bio hazardous materials when it occurs
- Removes trash from the trash container and places into the dumpsters
- Familiar with the proper use of chemicals and equipment
- Must be able to stand and work in a noisy, smoke filled environment without restrictions for up to eight hours per day
- Responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service to all guests
Cook: Your daily responsibilities include:
- Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to culinary team members and guests.
- Maintains current and accurate information regarding food items (i.e., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients)
- Prepares food items per guest order as required including, but not limited to, breakfast items, entrees and desserts according to guest request Employs proper cooking methods, cooks to specifications, and handles, stores and rotates food properly in accordance with established health and safety standards
- Slice, dice, chop and prepare raw products
- Carve meats, portion food on serving plates, add gravies and sauces, and garnish plates as required
- Wipes counter areas, sinks and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station
- Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
- Maintains par levels of operating supplies and food product for each workstation obtaining replacement stock from warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
- Operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- Provides personalized service and uses guests’ names when possible
- Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas
Cashier/Host: Your daily responsibilities include:
- Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and restaurant staff.
- Greets, and makes welcome, each guest entering restaurant
- Seats guests in restaurant as per specified rotation requirements
- Takes guests orders for to-go food or retail items and enters them in the POS system
- Maintains proper seating and reservation documentation
- Monitors restaurant for table availability
- Keeps designated working area clean and organized, wipes and assists in maintaining cleanliness of dining room, including cashiering area, as necessary or required, in accordance with established health and safety standards
- Assists wait staff and bus persons in their duties (e.g., refill water glasses and coffee cups, helps pre-bus and bus tables, attend to guest needs) as necessary, or required
- Complete all assigned closing duties at end of shift
- Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas
- Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck and makes it easy for them to get back in play
