Position: Guest Services/Security Office Attendant
Position Available: 1 Position
Hourly wage: $14.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 – 40 Average hours per week
Job Prerequisites:
- Must be vigilant in monitoring security cameras and hotel property to ensure guest safety.
- Must be quick to respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms or medical calls.
- Must be responsible for enforcing hotel policies and “quiet hours” to maintain a peaceful environment.
- Must be a calm and professional communicator, especially when handling difficult or intoxicated guests.
- Must be helpful and hospitable, assisting guests with questions or safety concerns.
- Must be able to write clear, detailed incident reports regarding any theft, damage, or disturbances.
- Must be trustworthy and capable of handling sensitive information or lost-and-found items.
- Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Must be physically capable of walking the entire property, including stairs and parking garages.
- Must be comfortable using basic technology, such as radios, computers, and surveillance software.
Job Descriptions:
- Serve as the primary guest-facing team member in the Security Office, assisting with questions about hotel facilities, lost & found, or reporting concerns.
- Provide friendly, accurate, and helpful information to guests throughout the day.
- Log guest interactions lost and found items, and incident reports with attention to detail and professionalism.
- Act as a communication link between the Security department and other departments via radio, phone, and in-person communication. Help coordinate responses to guest needs or incidents quickly and effectively.
- Monitor hotel and surveillance cameras to make sure that patrons are safe and behaving according to the rules.
- Uphold resort policies and guest service standards while ensuring a welcoming, approachable atmosphere.
English Required skills: Upper intermediate (A, B+, B)
