Position: Golf Cart Driver
Position Available: 1 Position
Hourly wage: $13.00 per hour + Tips
Estimated hours per day: 32 – 40 hours per week (Average)
Job Prerequisites:
- Must be capable of working outdoors in high temperatures, sun, and humidity.
- Must be physically able to lift, carry, and load heavy guest luggage or gear.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and move around for the duration of a full shift.
- Must be friendly, outgoing, and professional when greeting hotel guests.
- Must be knowledgeable about the local Panama City Beach area to provide directions.
- Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.
- Must be a clear communicator who can follow instructions from hotel management.
Job Descriptions:
- Responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of guests to and from the Guest Parking Lot.
- Cart Drivers make themselves available in the front of the hotel as well as in the parking lot so that guests are consistently provided with quick and convenient transportation.
- Drivers must use caution and situational awareness when driving. As one of the first team members guests interact with during their stay, customer service is made a priority by focusing on positive guess experience and survey recognition.
- Routine duties include transporting guests from hotel to the parking lot. Drivers do not exit hotel property or go onto Front Beach Road.
- Cart drivers are only permitted to drive to & from the parking lot utilizing the under road tunnel.
- Share knowledge of area’s attractions, restaurants, and points of interest to guests.
- Portray a visible and vivacious attitude exuding hospitality.
- Ensure the highest standards of guests’ safety and assist guest with boarding, loading, and unloading of luggage, etc.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the cart on a daily basis.
- Ensure carts are put on charge when not in use.
- Communicate any cart issues.
- Maintain a fun and friendly attitude towards guests.
- Assist with promoting positive guest relations via positive surveys and positive social media reviews.
English Required skills: Upper intermediate (A, B+, B)
