Job Description:
Should clean and stock guestrooms and public areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces using cleaning agents, cloths mops, sponges. Make beds. Clean bathroom. Restock all amenities. Clean all wastebaskets, mirrors, shelves, doorframes, windows, window frames and baseboards. Vacuum. Spray air freshener. All locations have a standard time-per-room for cleaning. You must be able to complete each room in that time. Work in the Laundry. Operate washer/dryer, separate, wash, dry, fold and deliver sheets, pillowcases, blankets and others. Collect linen from departed guestrooms. Restock linen. This job involves moderate to heavy lifting, bending, stretching pushing and pulling of medium to heavy objects.
We are a family run operation.
Performs all aspects of housekeeping to maintain guest rooms, meeting rooms, public common access areas at a motel/hotel. Clean rooms, public areas, stock and maintain carts and closets. Perform such duties as vacuuming, dusting, washing windows and cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, shower, sinks and floors. Sort laundry, fold, load and unload the washer and dryers. Replace light bulbs when needed.
Make notes for maintenance staff of items in areas cleaned that need to be fixed or need attention.
Provide excellent customer service by being familiar with each property and the area to help guests know what there is to see and do in the Black Hills area. Must be punctual and a team player. After proper training you should be able to 1 room in 30 minutes or less.
Students could work at any of the 4 properties. All properties are in close proximity to each other.
