Hourly wage: $15.00 – $17.00

  • Attendant, Bowling $14.00 per hour
  • Associate, Retail Department $17.00 per hour

Overtime details: Very slight change of any overtime. Do not expect it. Any overtime must be approved by management.

Job Prerequisites:

Associate, Retail Department: Previous retail experience is required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests, employees, and supervisors. You will need to get an Alcohol Awareness (AA) card to serve alcohol. The cost is approx. $15. Your Start Date must be a Thursday to attend Orientation.

Attendant, Bowling: Employer Skype Interview Required. You must notify the US Sponsor if there are any physical conditions or allergies to cleaning chemicals, lotions, or other sensitivities that could prevent you from doing your job. Your Start Date must be a Thursday to attend Orientation.

Job Description :

Your Start Date must be a Thursday to attend Orientation! You must report to the Human Resources office the next business day (Not Saturday or Sunday) between 10 am and 3 pm upon your arrival to the US and contact HR via email upon arrival for scheduling. If you do not arrive for processing paperwork on time your orientation may be delayed by a week. The paperwork takes about 45 minutes.

Attendant, Bowling As a Bowling Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience for all guests at our bowling center. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with lane setup, providing instructions on the use of bowling equipment, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a dynamic position that requires a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Assistance: Greet guests and provide information about lane availability, bowling rules, and safety procedures. Assist customers with lane assignments and set up bowling games.

Equipment Management: Distribute and collect bowling shoes, balls, and other necessary equipment. Ensure that all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and properly stored.

Lane Maintenance: Monitor the condition of the lanes, ball returns, and scoring systems.

Report any technical issues to the maintenance team promptly and assist with minor troubleshooting as needed.

Cash Handling: Operate the cash register to process payments for lane rentals, shoe rentals, and other services. Ensure accurate handling of money and issuance of receipts.

Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized bowling area, including sweeping lanes, clearing debris, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.

Customer Engagement: Foster a positive and welcoming environment by engaging with guests, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.

Promotions and Events: Assist in the setup and execution of special events, tournaments, and promotions held at the bowling center.

Qualifications:

Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English.

Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift, and carry heavy objects such as bowling balls.

Problem-Solving: Basic troubleshooting skills for dealing with common technical issues related to bowling equipment.

Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Previous Experience: Experience in a customer service role, especially in a recreational or sports environment, is preferred but not required.

This position operates in a bowling center environment where noise levels can be high. The role may require standing for extended periods and handling heavy objects. Employees are expected to maintain a positive attitude and ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience.

Must be dependable, hard-working, friendly, and a very trustworthy and honest individual.

Positions require attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit.

Flexible to help in other positions as requested. Additional tasks as requested by management. You will be expected to work all weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and morning or evening shifts, including closing shifts. You may not work the same shifts as your friends. Nor will you have the same days off as your friends. No job, or hours at a job, can be 100% guaranteed. Regardless of what your work contract states, there is always a possibility that you will work more or fewer hours. Some days will be slower than others.

As a Retail Associate at our Grand Sierra Resort, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting guests with their purchases. Your role will include helping guests select items, processing transactions, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and inviting retail space. As a Cashier in the Food & Beverage department at our Casino/Hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience. You will be responsible for processing transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
