Position: Restaurant Worker – Late Start

Position Available: 2-3 Positions

Hourly wage: 13.00 per hour

Wage comments: Restaurant Worker Back of the house: $13.00/hour (possibility of performance-based raise and possible overtime- not guaranteed!)

Restaurant Worker Front of the house $11.00/hour plus tip

Host Company will placed the participant in the positions based on abilities and business needs.

Overtime: Slight

Overtime details: Overtime is possible but is not guaranteed. Anything worked over 40 hours per week is considered overtime and will be paid 1.5 times. Overtime is possible during peak weeks.

Job prerequisites : 

1. Must have Upper-Intermediate English for back-of-the-house positions or Advanced for all front-of-the-house positions.
2. Ability to stand for entire shift.
3. Good health and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
4. Attention to detail for both back and front of the house duties.
5. Flexibility and understanding that the Host Company will decide which position/station you will work based on your abilities and business needs.
6. Works well in fast paced environment.
7. Ability to “keep busy” when times of the day are slow (maintain stations, side work, etc)
8. Eager to provide exceptions customer service!
9. No allergies/restrictions to food/chemicals

Job Description : 

Restaurant Worker position requires flexibility; you will be moved around into various areas within the restaurant based on the Host Companies needs/your abilities and skills. Duties include but are not limited to: learning menu, preparing food (cutting veggies, cooking/preparing pizzas, sandwiches, other menu items), washing dishes, fryer station, cleaning, monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, cleaning tables, seating customers, answering the phone, bringing glass rack and bus pans to the kitchen to be cleaned, taking out trash, stocking tables, ensuring bathrooms are cleaned and stocked, and other requests from management. Must be ready for standing for long shifts.

English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B only)

End Date: August 20 – September 7^th, 2024
