Job Prerequisites:

• Basic knowledge and experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in Latin or international cuisine.
• Familiarity with portion control, recipe execution, and food presentation standards.
• Understanding local, state, and federal food safety regulations (FDA, OSHA) and SERV Safe practices.
• Ability to maintain hygiene and proper food handling procedures.
• Good organizational skills for inventory management and kitchen setup.
• Flexibility to adapt to menu changes, special requests, and fast-paced service requirements.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift ingredients, and perform repetitive tasks in a busy kitchen environment.

Job Description:

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Estefan Kitchen Orlando’s authentic Latin cuisine recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock cooking stations with all necessary ingredients and tools before service.
• Ensure all food is prepared fresh, cooked to perfection, and presented beautifully to meet guest expectations.
• Follow precise portion control and ingredient measurements to maintain food cost and quality consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Work efficiently under pressure during peak dining hours and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with inventory management, receiving deliveries, and proper ingredient storage.
• Adapt to menu changes, special requests, and last-minute modifications.

English Required skills:  Advance (A, B+, B only)

Cost Amount: $172.14 per week

Cost details: cost is approximately $172.14 per week (based on 3

occupants per room) and paid weekly to the front desk using a credit card.
